Madelyn Hoffman spoke on October 1st at Community Church of Boston. The event was titled "Stop the Endless Wars!" She focused on U.S. aggression and war promotion throughout the Middle East, with an especially clear view of Syria.
Hoffman has been the Executive Director of New Jersey Peace Action and the NJ Peace Action Education Fund since August 2000. She writes a regular column for the Bloomfield Life newspaper and is a contributor to Op-Ed News. She has traveled as a peacemaker to Afghanistan, Tunisia, Syria, Japan, Palestine, and Israel. She has been Adjunct Professor of Political Science since 1997. She ran for Governor of NJ in 1997 on the Green Party ticket and was Ralph Nader's vice-presidential running mate on the New Jersey Green Party ticket in 1996.
