John Peel, JFK & WWI memorial show 2013 Series: Bristol Broadband Co-operative Subtitle: Plus will World War 1 100th anniversary next year be properly criticised? This week Dialect has a John Peel day special with some John Peel music and a little dip into Peels take on the JFK assassination, the 50th anniversary of which is coming up next month. This terrible event was to signal the end of Kennedys reining back of US military colonialism and expansionism and the rise of GHW Bush and Dick Cheneys Military Industrial Complex expansionism. The mainstream press all across the Western world are likely to obscure the anniversary with spurious dumbed down disinformation. Here we look to the seminal work of New Orleans District Attorney and former soldier Jim Garrison and a specific key passage in The Garrison Interview which we serialised complete in the summer. Next years World War 1 anniversary but will they explain it as a family squabble that got WAY out of hand. Film Oh! What A Lovely War (1969) great film about WW1 and no mans land football match incident.
