Over the last several months fast food workers across the US have gone out on strike demanding unionization, better working conditions and wages. Scott Price talked with Martin Rafanan who is an organizer for Jobs with Justice in St Louis Missouri.
In China's most recent five year economic plan announced in June of last year Nomadic Pastoralists in Tibet, Inner Mongolia and the Xinjiang Autonomous Region are facing forced re-settlement by the Chinese goverment into new homes. over 1.5 million nomads are to be settled into more than 240,000 new homes. Scott Price talks with journalist Hannibal Rhodes about the plan and its affects on the indigenous populations.
