United Parents Against Lead, national environmental advocacy nonprofit, launched a petition calling on Governor McDonnell to repeal the July 1, 2012 law that de-regulated from certification contractors doing work in mold remediation, leaving households seeking assistance vulnerable to poorly assessed and implemented remediation work, reducing jobs for certified contractors and exacerbating a clear public health problem in our region.
