Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. This weeks show I sat down and spoke with teacher, activist and friend Bruce Taylor, about his efforts in fighting the abuses against the women who work at Classic Factory in Jordan that produces merchandise for Wal-Mart, SEARS, Macy's and many other major brands. Bruce will talk about how he's organized his high school students and created Youth Labor Committee to get the community and public aware of these human rights abuses. Also, Luke McCann who runs the Peoria Theater talks with me on why the theater is closing, what people in Peoria can do to help and what this will mean for Independent films in the Peoria area. And Tammy Ivy, president of the PARC union here in Peoria, discusses what the union means to her and what's going on with negotiations with PARC management and the state. Featured live music performances from Tina Sparkle, Sky Maul and Teaadora.
