The reporter who during the eighties broke many stories surrounding the Iran-Contra affair and worked closely with other journalists who were involved in covering Central America. Since 1995 he and his sons have operated Consortium News an independent investigative news site, that has become critically important for serious news.
Robert Parry
This is a candid conversation about how Parry selects his distinguished stable of writers and the rise of the right wing news media dating back to the eighties till now. Especially informative to young listeners and interesting for those old enough to remember. He also addresses the rise of the "birthers" and those that resist the hard right news machines dominating the Kansas airwaves. Whew!
