Recent radio programs, drawn from a variety of sources and processed for compact bandwidth, that take as given that 9/11WAS AN INSIDE JOB to benefit a global, feudalist elite whose plutocratic advance and contempt for democracy and humanitarian concerns form an ongoing, accelerating agenda of eugenics, exploitation, endless war, environmental degradation, murderous censorship, decimation of human kind and enserfment for those who remain

Dave Rovics: Music that demonstrates why the human heart is on the Left...
Submitted by Cris Andreae on Wed, 03/03/2010 - 11:38am
program: Air Cascadia
program date: Wed, 03/03/2010

Here's the Dave Rovics story story straight from the man's website, www.davidrovics.com: David Rovics grew up in a family of classical musicians in Wilton, Connecticut, and became a fan of populist regimes early on. By the early 90's he was a full-time busker in the Boston subways and by the mid-90's he was traveling the world as a professional flat-picking rabble-rouser. These days David lives with his family in Portland, Oregon and tours regularly on four continents, playing for audiences large and small at cafes, pubs, universities, churches, union halls and protest rallies. He has shared the stage with a veritable of who's who of the left in two dozen countries, and has had his music featured on Democracy Now!, BBC, Al-Jazzeera and other networks. His essays are published regularly on CounterPunch and Truthout and the 200+ songs he makes available on the web have been downloaded more than a million times. Most importantly, he's really good. He will make you laugh, he will make you cry, he will make the revolution irresistible.

Check out 'Ten Thousand Miles Away', 'Waiting for the Fall - A Retrospective' and more. David has some local concerts coming up so make plans...

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2010

GUEST: Rich Wiles is a UK-based author and photographic artist who spent most of the past five years in Occupied Palestine documenting events there on the ground.

He's also the Assistant Project Coordinator of OUR VOICE: Refugee Youth Magazine - www.refugee voice.org - an arts and media project being implemented in six West Bank refugee camps. Since 2005, Wiles lived in the Aida Refugee camp, running arts projects for its residents as a form of resistance, communication, and self-expression.

His new book about Occupied Palestine is just out, titled, "Behind the Wall: Life, Love, and Struggle in Palestine."

That topic will be discussed.
