We explore Oxfam International’s proposal for a fair global deal on climate change.
Produced by Phil England for Climate Radio and ResonanceFM. Please drop me a quick note if you broadcast this programme at phil@switch-off.co.uk. Many thanks! www.climateradio.org www.resonancefm.com
The global deal on climate change has two main requirements. That it is guided by the latest science and that it is fair. Without fairness there will be no deal, as nearly 200 countries need to agree and most of these countries are poor. We take a look at Oxfam International’s proposal for what might constitute fairness and what might break current deadlock in the talks, in an interview with Richard King of Oxfam International.

We also hear from Ricardo Navarro of Friends of the Earth El Salvador on how climate change is impacting his country and why climate change is an issue of justice.
