In 1995, Canada estimated 24,000 tons of emissions from wiper fluid every year went into the environment.
The skull & crossbones are there for a reason. But the labels don't tell the whole story of how Canada's use of this toxic product. Some products contain up to 90% Methanol with no identification on the product. Research suggests long-term exposure to to fumes that enter cars through the engine from Methanol spillage could be cancerous.
