December 1st is World AIDS Day. Patrick Truong who does counselling, support and advocacy work in Toronto's Asian communities discusses the state of AIDS policy and response, locally and globally.

Asian Community AIDS Services offers counselling, case management and referral services to people living with HIV/AIDS, including translations of treatment information. The agency also does outreach and education in schools and unversities, in bars and bathhouses, and offers support program to Asian-descended queer youth. Check them at www.acas.org or 416.963.4300.
