They will discuss the various military, economic and other ways the U.S. and Canada and other major powers are continuing to benefit from the misery of the people. Panelists include Elaine Brière a Canadian film-maker, Jean St-Vil, Haitian born activist and commentator, Haitian born scholar Kira Paulemon, and Brian Concannon, a human rights lawyer and foreign policy advocate. The moderator of the discussion was Bianca Mugyenyi, an activist, journalist and director of the Canadian Foreign Policy Institute.
