In our broadcast today we continue our examination of Israel's so-called Normalization process. The Trump administration and the government of Israel, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have devised a Middle East "peace plan" without the involvement of Palestinian leaders, and have concluded agreements to normalize relations between Israel and a widening circle of Arab regimes -- the so-called "Abraham Accords."
This program is taken from a webinar forum sponsored by the Center for Islam Decolonality hosted by Syed Mustapha Ali. It is focused on Pakistan which is currently under pressure to join the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia and others in treaties to normalize relations between their countries and Israel.
This panel consists of Israeli historian Ilan Pappe, foreign policy analyst Phyllis Bennis, and religious scholar Mark Braverman. It begins with introductions by panel host and moderator Syed Mustafa Ali.
