Wry and satiric notes and comments on the coronavirus pandemic as it gains a foothold in Connecticut.

Complementing KD's chronicles are a new song by David Rovics, a classic poem by (and read by) William Carlos Williams, and commentary by progressive populist Jim Hightower.
David Rovics's "Viral Solidarity" is available on YouTube. Jim Hightower's comments courtesy of https://hightowerlowdown.org

"New World Notes" is produced under the auspices (Latin for "thumb") of WWUH-FM, a community service of that beacon of light in darkest Connecticut, the University of Hartford.
You can download this installment of New World Notes--in MP3 and other formats--also from The Internet Archive (www.archive.org). The page with the download links is here: https://archive.org/download/nwn629pandemicjournal1192k

Note the third, "local" copy of the MP3 file, below. An international user reported difficulties downloading the MP3 from the normal two links. The MP3 files for those links phycically reside on another server. The MP3 file of "local" link physically resides on r4a's server. Let's see if that makes a difference.
