As people began seeing the elites' propaganda for what it is, new systems of social control were put into place. These included militarization of the police, new non-lethal weapons, a "prison-industrial complex," neutralizing the Bill of Rights, and CIA-supplied narcotics in the inner cities.

This is Part 3 of an audio tapestry woven by Robin Upton from Unwelcome Guests' archival material. It's a fine exploration of how the forces that run the world *actually* operate in practice. (Cont'd...)
Central to this tapestry is Richard K. Moores fine essay, "Escaping the Matrix," read by Lyn Gerry. Woven around that are several other discussions that supplement, extend, and illustrate the essays several points.

Brief introduction by K.D.

New World Notes is produced under the auspices (Latin for "double-secret probation") of WWUH-FM, a community service of that beacon of light in darkest Connecticut, the University of Hartford.
