Quality Radio Productions (QRP) is the brainchild of Jason 'jake' Longwell, a veteran radio program presenter and producer from the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Based in Geneva, NY, QRP offers six top quality radio shows to any non-commercial radio station or webcaster free of charge. These shows focus on genres of music that are often times ignored by mainstream media. These genres include Jazz, Classical, and World music, as well as Radio Theatre. All shows are produced on a weekly basis, and are distributed to stations over the internet. Programs are approximately 59 minutes in length. The shows are encoded in broadcast quality MP3 format. The music shows are in stereo, while Upstate Radio Theatre is usually recorded in mono.
